About the role

Due to the expansion and success of our busy up market venue, we are looking to hire a passionate and dedicated Sous Chef to join our dynamic and hardworking team. This role will be imperative to supporting the Head and Assistant Head Chef

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of all food as required and instructed by the Head Chef in a hygienic and timely manner
  • Ensure all food leaving the kitchen is representative of the style and presentation required – Have the appropriate skills to operate kitchen equipment safely
  • Ensure work stations remain clean, tidy and organised adhering to strict food hygiene practices
  • Ensure effective stock rotation and replenish as required Overall cleaning and sanitisation of the kitchen area and equipment
  • During quiet periods, be actively involved in deep cleaning to maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and organisation
  • Living by and advocating our core values
  • To share accountability for the day-to-day running of the kitchen.
  • When requested, ordering using nominated suppliers as detailed by the head chef
